SPEECH tells my own story - my childhood and teenage years, which were marked by Christianity and my parents’ unhappy marriage...where each of us (my father, mother, sister, and I) suffered our own share of the damage. Part documentary and part personal quest, this project is a dialogue with my past, in which I question the presence of religion in our childhood education, and to what point our past made us who we are today. Traumas and injuries are not always as well-buried as they seem.
